About The Ponds at Foxhollow

The Berkshires is a summer retreat for some 2.5 million annual visitors, and The Ponds at Foxhollow in Lenox has amenities that make it an extremely desirable mountain resort destination. The Berkshires is a rural mountainous area in western Massachusetts that’s 98 miles long and encompasses 950 square miles. The Ponds at Foxhollow has 48 condominiums overlooking a scenic pond. One- and two-bedroom units that sleep four to six guests each have a fireplace, fully equipped kitchens, bar area, DVD player and stereo. Resort amenities include a large and cozy library with a fireplace, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, sauna, exercise room, tennis courts, putting green, bocce ball, basketball courts, playground, rowboats and canoes, 200 acres for hiking and biking, and much more. In the surrounding area, many Gilded Age (1870-1900) mansions can be visited, and there are prominent attractions like the Norman Rockwell Museum, the Hancock Shaker Village and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Perhaps the most famous attraction is the Tanglewood estate, which is the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Its summer season is known as the Tanglewood Music Festival, which is a series of concerts held by the BSO and other groups.
